Is this a 21st Century carving? It can be seen at sykesgallery.com with a chisled finish. In the new Millenium, it was decided to file and snad it to a sleek finish. It took years, between dayjob and other art projects.

The "mother carving" was from a huge log, and suffered from so much complexity that three other carvings were extracted and finished a separate pieces.
